A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving

Saturday Morning Apocalypse returns with the entire staff in attendance as we watch the perennial classic, “A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving”.

Happy Thanksgiving, folks! Whether you’re at home enjoying a nice meal with your family or if you’re alone eating take out food because your family sucks and you wish them nothing but ill will, we’ve got you covered with a brand new special Non-Saturday Saturday Morning Apocalypse!

I’m your host, Dave, and joining me on this special holiday edition of Saturday Morning Apocalypse are confirmed Charlie Brown-heads Mike, Jackie, and Ryan.

Listen as we discuss our histories with good old Charlie “Chuck” Brown, including trips to Knott’s Berry Farm and acting in elementary school stage productions; Mike, Jackie, and Ryan explain the difference between filthy and potentially homeless characters (aka Pig Pen and Linus); and finally, I - a Charlie Brown newbie -  try to understand the appeal of Charles Schulz’s creation, which as far as I can tell has only one lively character (Snoopy), with a supporting cast of mostly manic depressives.

This is Dave from Sector 2 wishing everyone a Happy Thanksgiving. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I have several pieces of toast that need buttering.
