Episode 1794,   Nov 30, 2021, 08:26 AM

Reports from Unity state say Rubkona airstrip and the main road linking the UN base to Rubkona have been cut off by floods.

Humanitarians estimate that 85% of the state is underwater, with 95% of the population affected.

IOM Chief of Mission, Peter Van der Auweraert says the state has not seen this level of flooding since 1964.

Mr. Auweraert updated Radio Miraya on the destruction caused by the floods and what humanitarians are doing to lessen the impact on the local population.
