Red Cross deploys volunteers to ensure safety on Christmas Day

South Sudan red cross society says it will deploy over fifty volunteers in three major towns of Juba, Bor and Wau to respond to possible emergency during the festive season.

Red cross head of communication, Marial Mayom says, twenty of these volunteers will be strategically deployed in public places in the national capital Juba. 

He says, the teams will respond to emergencies by providing first aid and distribute face masks to the population.
He spoke exclusively to Miraya's Lwak Nelson.
