Feb 14, 2022, 01:26 AM

Fevzi Turkalp, the Gadget Detective, joins Bill Buckley on BBC Berkshire to discuss the latest tech news and reviews. This week; a couple of gadgets ideal for Valentine's Day gifts.

First Gadget of the Week is The Love Box. This bamboo box with lid features a pixelated heart on the front and can be tethered to an app on your smartphone, allowing you to send text or graphic messages to the box, causing the heart to flutter the box to vibrate, and the message appears on a screen inside. The receiver, who doesn't need a smartphone to use the box, can then twist the heart to send back a shower of hearts to the sender's app. It scored 3.5 out of 5

Second Gadget of the Week is the Ember Smart Mug 2. This temperature controlled mug comes in a range of colours; black, white, gold, copper, and brushed steel, and can be set to maintain a chosen temperature you set via your smartphone and will keep it there for up to 90 minutes, or indefinitely if you keep the mug on the accompanying coaster charger. Available in two sizes, it scored 4 out of 5
