Apr 05, 2022, 11:30 PM

Amanda de Cadenet started her broadcast career at just 15 years old, hosting one of the biggest live music shows in the UK. But rising to fame at a young age evoked a traumatic experience with the British press, instigating her move to the US at 19.

Amanda navigated being a young mother and overcoming addiction and is a luminous example of recovery.

Bored of always just being in front of the camera, Amanda found a love for photography and is now an accomplished photographer, the host of the incredibly popular interview series The Conversation and the founder of Girlgaze, a platform that connects a network of female-identifying and non-binary creatives with companies who want to hire a diverse workforce.

In this honest and raw episode, you’ll hear Liz and Jordan speak with Amanda about not only her career but her intimate view of why she moved to LA so suddenly, how she’s raising her children to understand and appreciate their privilege, and why she’s passionate about opening doors for other female-identifying and non-binary creatives.
