Battle Lords - Mistakes Were Made - EP12 "Self Correcting Error"

Episode 73,   Nov 15, 2022, 05:12 AM

The AARPG is an adults only actual-play podcast full of violence, bad language, and questionable behavior.

The end is at hand. Something wild and untamed, full of fury is looking to kill everyone on board the station, oh yeah, and there is also the giant mother alien. It is going to be mayhem, explosions, and failed rage checks galore in the final installment of "Mistakes Were Made".

Our latest GM/Battlelord, Chris runs the group through the adventure Last Resort from the Charlie Foxtrot supplement.

The rest of the crew are:
Matt, playing Bubba Fott - Fott: Synthetic xenophobic Bunny-person rednecks.

Malcolm, playing Farooq Idan. An Eridani Swordsaint: Philosophical methane-breathing humanoid from a rigid caste-bound militocratic society.

Tyr, playing Hestu Vorin. A Phentari: Haughty and treacherous methane-breathing four-armed  Cephalapoid.

Nathan, Playing Bagheera Ka'Ren. A Cizerack: Territorial matriarchal quadrupedal Felinoid warriors.

Sean, playing Pimpleton Tech. A Gen-Human: Genetically modified cloned Humans.

Tony, Playing Delsanto del Foridia.  A Chatilian: Psychic green-skinned humanoids with lumpy projections on their skulls

Of the group, only Chris and Tyr have played Battlelords before, so the rest of us have to get smart quick. Battlelords is a super crunchy game dedicated to awesome tactical combat where your armor is basically your second, and arguably more important than the bag of meat (or other substance) that goes inside of it, character.

Over-equipped and under-trained is the reality in a universe where life is plentiful, but cheap. So join us at our table as we coalesce the vapors of creativity (drink) and bring to life our next set of highly unstable and morally questionable characters.
