With the holidays right around the corner, you will encounter all sorts of invites, events, opportunities and temptations!
Leading to the all too familiar response of overcommitting.

Your intentions may be pure, especially as a nurse we have hearts that want to give, show up and serve for those who matter!

But does it really make you a “good Nurse” or do you find yourself feeling resentful anyways???!

If you feel overextended and over committed
Take inventory of your current season and commitments,

Ask yourself the hard questions, do I really have the space to commit ? Do I feel pressured, guilty or obligated to commit?

Dont overthink the ask from the other party, answer with kindness and compassion but don't over think your answer or their response, you are only responsible for your response

This holiday season, don't fall into the trap of over committing
Instead commit to what matters and make use of the time you do have !
