Yu Bao Ping was happy to trade the backbreaking labor of farming for toilet cleaning. Lou Ya and her husband are grateful for the steady paycheck and rent-free accommodations: The couple lives in a tiny room attached to one of the luxurious public lavatories built for the 2008 Olympics.
