I carried over a week's holiday from last year and was able to use it in May to enjoy some relaxation and revival time, which included a trip down memory lane, ending up in Canterbury. There are photos from my trip here: www.mus-ic.co.uk/gallery/CanterburyMay2012

What was remarkable about the trip was that, during three years at University there, I had never visited Canterbury's Norman castle! I was inspired to write a song for a 'modern day' princess, juxtaposing the tranquility and antiquity of the stonework with the busy ringroad just beyond it!
