Marianne Sciucco & Elizabeth Miller - Healing Ties 2.0.1 - Episode 15

Episode 15,   Mar 21, 2023, 04:05 AM

In each episode, we interview one of our authors who may have written a memoir, caregiver guide, novel, children’s book, activity guide, poetry book, or blog. Their backgrounds are diverse, and their situations vary - it may be someone living with the disease, a caregiver for a loved one at home or in a facility, or a professional carer. All have joined AlzAuthors because dementia impacted their lives and they wish to help others through the disease. Their personal stories offer insight often told through laughter and sometimes tears.   Whether you are a caregiver, family member, or living with dementia you’ll find revelations, wisdom, and understanding from decades of caregiving.   May one of our authors speak to your experience.   Managed by eight volunteers who have all witnessed the loss of a loved one with dementia, AlzAuthors provides access to quality resources that not only answer your questions, but offer knowledge, comfort, and support.

In this episode, Joe Vazquez shares his story and we discuss marital commitment, mental health therapy, FMLA benefits, and the role TikTok has played in his caregiving journey.
