Kouri Darden Richins, a Utah-based author known for writing a children's book on grief, was arrested, and charged with the murder of her husband, Eric Richins. The charges include first-degree aggravated murder and three second-degree felony charges related to possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute, specifically fentanyl. According to the investigation, Kouri allegedly poisoned Eric with fentanyl, and he was found dead with five times the lethal dose of the drug in his system.
