Oscar Rewind: The Fighter

Well, we made it this far before coming across our first mid film. A whole two weeks. If you’ve been listening to us for a while, you already know our thoughts and feelings about David O. Russell. In short, we don’t like him or his movies much, save for Silver Linings Playbook. In The Fighter, he takes on our favorite subject, sports. There must be a dad film every year, and I’m sure 2011 dads were hyped to see a film about boxers they knew of growing up. Yay for them. Stick with us this week! We promise better films are coming.
