OLYMPIC TORCH

The Olympic Torch spent 5 days in Northern Irleand. Despite having to be rerouted due to a Dissident Republican threat in Londonderry and a protest in Newry people lined roads the length and breadth of the Province to cheer the torch along its route. On the final day the honour of carrying the flame fell to a TA Corporal
