Niaga Spotlight FORECAST with Dato Seri Wong Siew Hai, President, Malaysia Semiconductor Industry Association (MSIA) on Malaysia’s Semiconductor Industry in 2024.
Malaysia currently accounts for 13% of the global market for semiconductor packaging, assembly, and testing and aims to boost that to 15% by 2030.
In fact, in 2022, overall E&E products export value amounted to RM593 billion, far exceeding the 12th Malaysia Plan’s 2022 target of RM495 billion.
