Melissa in the Morning: Electric Vehicles and Farmers

There have been a lot of concerns surrounding an electric vehicle mandate in Connecticut. And while lawmakers have hit the pause button for now, the idea is hardly off the table. Despite many reasons for delaying the roll-out of EV’s and elimination of gas-powered vehicle sales, we haven’t really talked about the negative impact of a mandate on farmers. Senator Jeff Gordon joined the show to highlight this problem he’s hearing about from many of his constituents who happen to be Connecticut farmers.
