Dr. Amie Harwick was stunningly beautiful and incredibly smart, gaining her notoriety in Hollywood that lead to some high profile relationships, including an engagement to Drew Carey. One relationship, with ex Gareth Pursehouse, ended with her getting a restraining order to get away.
In 2020 (eight years later) she runs into Gareth at an awards show and his obsession is reignited. Weeks later, Gareth breaks into Amie's home, resulting in her death after dropping from a third floor balcony. While he admits to breaking in, he denies killing her.
