Dilek Ertek, a prominent socialite and the affluent Turkish distributor for Tiffany & Co., planned to celebrate her 70th birthday on a cruise to Bora Bora with her Swiss partner, 74-year-old Artur Fuchberger. What was meant to be a splendid vacation on the high seas turned tragic when Dilek vanished from the boat on October 26, 2022.
While accidents on cruise ships are not unheard of, the circumstances surrounding Dilek's disappearance raise questions and cast doubt on the likelihood of an accidental fall.
