A black bear was euthanized after it attacked a Chesire woman sitting in her backyard. It’s the most recent story of bear troubles in our state prompting a check-in with lawmakers. Senator Steve Harding outlined legislation that has passed in recent years to address the problem, but also explained why bear hunts need to be legal in Connecticut to really make people feel safer.
