The towns still picking up the pieces after the historic flooding on August 18th didn’t have flood insurance. What, if anything, can be done at this point if homeowners or business owners did not have flood insurance on their properties? Gerard O'Sullivan is the Director of Consumer Affairs at the Connecticut Insurance Department answered some common questions the department’s been answering lately including: are you able to get flood insurance after the fact or are these residents out of luck?
