Melissa in the Morning: Anthony Afriyie

The candidates are set for next month's special election in the state Senate's 21st district.  The four-town district covering Shelton and parts of Stratford, Monroe and Seymour had been represented by Senator Kevin Kelly, but he stepped down this month to become a state judge. We met Democratic candidate, Anthony Afriyie, a member of the Stratford Town Council and press secretary for Congresswoman Rosa DeLauro.
