What to do with your leap second...

This weekend is a whole extra second longer than a normal weekend due to the extra "leap second" (read more about that here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leap_second )

So what could you do with that extra second?

Simple. Lock your car.

It constantly amazes us how many victims of car crime have left their car unlocked. Maybe you don't do it in the car park when doing the weekly shop, or at the woods when you take the dog for a walk; but what about when the car is parked outside your house? or when you "just bob in to the petrol station" or "popped to pick up the takeaway"?

Thieves will only take a second to check if your car is locked, so you should take a second too!
