New Environmental and Oceanographic Sciences Facility: USF St. Petersburg hosted a community conversation to unveil plans for a new state-of-the-art Environmental and Oceanographic Sciences Research and Teaching Facility. The facility will enhance research capabilities, support student engagement in environmental and oceanographic sciences, and foster interdisciplinary collaboration. It will also address local challenges, including resiliency in the wake of last fall's storms.

Engaging Disconnected Youth in Pinellas County: USF St. Petersburg has joined a $200,000 initiative to connect disconnected youth (ages 15-24) in Pinellas County with educational and workforce opportunities. Led by USF professors and in partnership with Keys Consulting, the project aims to strengthen the local workforce and help young individuals reach their potential.
