A decade-long study of around 35 million Americans in 10 states has found that group A strep throat infections have more than doubled by 2022. What’s also alarming is that data shows that treating strep is becoming a bigger challenge as it is more resistant to common antibiotics. Dr. Fred Browne of Griffin Health weighs in on what’s happening with these infection upticks and how to treat them properly.
