Fuzzy felt and sizzling spices

This is an excerpt of the Sonic Wallpaper piece created in response to BADDA 2301 in the MoDA wallpaper collection. The interviewees - on whose words all the sound recordings for Sonic Wallpaper are based - mentioned Indian restaurants, the processes by which wallpaper is printed and flocked, and fuzzy felt - all of which contributed to the field-recordings created and arranged around their words to create Sonic Wallpaper.
