Melissa in the Morning: Manresa Island Update

Norwalk is celebrating a major milestone for Manresa Island: the demolition of three 7.5-million-gallon steel oil tanks. The removal reportedly marks the first major physical step in transforming the abandoned and polluted industrial site into a vibrant community park, unlocking 76,000 square feet of new park space. We talked about it with Jessica Vonashek, executive director of Manresa Island Corporation.
