Melissa in the Morning: Cuts to Mental Health Programs

The Department of Education has discontinued approximately $1 billion in grants for school mental health programs. 15 Attorneys General, including Connecticut AG William Tong, are suing the Trump Administration to try and block this action. We spoke with Connecticut Education Association President, Kate Dias, about what the money goes towards and the need to invest in mental health intervention in schools.
