The battle over Jeffrey Epstein’s secrets has reached a tipping point on Capitol Hill. Every Democrat in the House of Representatives and four Republicans have now signed a discharge petition to open and release the long-hidden Epstein files to the public. A new book is coming out next month highlighting a darker dimension of the Epstein story. We spoke with Sarah McCarthy, author of Blue Butterfly: Inside the Diary of an Epstein Survivor, about her close friend’s trauma and a shift in the narrative beyond sex trafficking into something far more sinister.
