Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God. -Matthew 5:9

DEVOTION
Based on Matthew 5
Peace isn’t passive—it’s powerful. Jesus blesses peacemakers because they mirror God’s heart. True peace requires courage, humility, and the willingness to step into conflict with grace. Being a peacemaker means choosing understanding over judgment, and love over resentment. It doesn’t mean avoiding problems, but approaching them with a spirit that reflects Christ.

Your commitment to peace sets you apart as God’s child in a world filled with division. Let peace guide your steps today, whether at home, work, or online.
A.C.T.S. REFLECTION
ADORATION: Lord, You are the God of peace, bringing calm to chaos and reconciliation to the broken.

CONFESSION: I confess I have fueled conflict with harsh words or silence when peace was needed.

THANKSGIVING: Thank You for making peace with me through Jesus and for the peace You offer my heart and relationships.

SUPPLICATION: Make me a true peacemaker. Please give me the courage to speak with gentleness and wisdom. Where there’s division, use me to build bridges. Let my pursuit of peace show that I am truly Your child, living by Your example.

PRAYER
“It is a good thing to give thanks unto the Lord, and to sing praises unto thy name, O Most High.”
PSALM 92:1
Dear Heavenly Father, I do not just offer praise to You just because You are worthy, but because it is also good for my soul. I am created for praise, carefully woven together to experience harmony with You. When I worship You, I am living out my sole purpose in life. So may every breath within me be praise to You. May every step I take and move I make be for Your namesake. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen. 🙏🏾
