Melissa in the Morning: Absentee Ballot Fraud

Bridgeport City Councilman Alfredo Castillo was arrested for the fourth on a charge of illegally possessing a woman’s absentee ballot in the recent election. This happened just weeks ago, followed by a campaign worker arrested for allegedly illegally taking possession of a voter’s absentee ballot in the 2024 do-over mayoral election in Bridgeport. What can be done to stop bad actors from allegedly committing the same crimes? We spoke with Secretary of the State Stephanie Thomas.
