When 29-year-old Keith Dardeen failed to show up for his shift at work on November 18, 1987, and calls to the family’s Ina, IL home went unanswered, his concerned father finally contacted the police to request a welfare check. What they found inside the house would haunt the community for decades to come, and the case remains unsolved to this day.
