Christine Vitale is the unofficial winner of the special election in Fairfield. Vitale, who has been serving the role as first selectperson since the passing of Bill Gerber, won by a 12-point margin, over her Republican opponent Senator Tony Hwang. We spoke with Vitale fresh off her win about her plans for Fairfield.
