Children’s TV history: ‘And now… here is The Gallery’

The famous gallery in BBC children’s TV show Vision On is fondly remembered complete with the iconic, lilting theme tune. Grandparents were drafted in to deal with the thousands of weekly entries, the majority of which were rejected and destroyed. But glory and prizes abounded for those that made the cut.
