Episode 172: Crop Circles ft Lets Get Haunted

On August 22nd, 1678 in Hartfordshire, a piece would be published in a local newspaper titled “The Mowing Devil.” The drawing consisted of a series of concentric rings of crops. 

In the middle stood a devil wielding a scythe. The pamphlet then told a strange tale. A farmer refused to pay a worker to mow his oat field, swearing he would rather the devil himself mow it. 

Some argue this was the very first documentation of what has become one of the most iconic symbols of alien activity. According to websites that track this phenomenon, more than 12,000 of these geometric patterns have been reported and in more than 60 countries.

Today we are stepping into these fields — where the stalks bend, the patterns form, and the explanations vanish into thin air. Across quiet countrysides and moonlit plains, strange geometric shapes have appeared seemingly overnight — carved into the earth with precision no human hand could easily match.

Some say it’s a message… a cosmic signature left by visitors from the great beyond. Others whisper about secret military technology, government conspiracy, or forces of nature we’ve never dared to understand. But one thing is certain — when the dew settles and the dawn light hits the fields, something is watching back.
