Creating Controversy - why I deliberately did it on @listly #ade2012

Why I decided to provoke & welcome controversy in connection with a wonderful gathering of educators from many countries in Cork Ireland.
Why I picked the word "insult" in order to draw attention to the substance - why I ran the risk of upsetting some people in Apple...
As an enthusiastic user of iPhone & iPad (and future customer for MacBookPro) - why I felt OK challenging Apple to be more open to our local Irish community - especially storytellers & educators...
But I do accept I've made the point in a dramatic manner & have to face the consequences.
