In October of 1995, 20-year-old Victoria Cafasso traveled to Tasmania on holiday, excited to explore one of Australia's most beautiful islands. She packed a towel, headed to the beach for a quiet afternoon, and never came home. She was attacked in broad daylight. Stabbed 17 times on an open beach where dozens of people came and went that day.
And somehow...No one saw anything. No one heard enough to stop it. No one has ever been held responsible. Nearly three decades later, Victoria's murder remains one of Tasmania's most chilling unsolved mysteries.
Listen as we dive into Tasmania, the case of Victoria Cafasso, and how to stay alive on vacation.
