Nancy Guthrie's Sheriff Said NO To The FBI's Plane?

The FBI Director says he had an aircraft on the ground, fueled, ready to fly DNA evidence from the Nancy Guthrie scene to Quantico through the night. He says the Pima County Sheriff sent it to a private lab in Florida instead.

The sheriff says the decision was made on scene, based on operational needs, and that the two labs have worked in partnership from the start. One of them is not telling the whole story.

Tony Brueski goes through the full contradiction ledger in the disappearance of Savannah Guthrie's eighty-four-year-old mother. The dueling statements released forty-five minutes apart in which each agency pointed at the other. The Reuters report on the ransom notes that FBI Phoenix reversed publicly the next day. The retired agent who says there is significant disagreement inside the Bureau.

And the four days. Patel says the FBI was kept out. But an FBI special agent stood next to the sheriff at a Tucson press conference on the third of February, and Patel himself said on camera that same day that the Bureau was on the ground with them. Three officials, same side, three versions of the same four days.

Meanwhile the sheriff was answering questions about his own record, and told the reporter asking to enjoy his hit piece.

A working crime scene investigator says nobody has told that family the truth. Nancy Guthrie is still missing. No suspect has been named.
