What Josh Duggar Wrote About His Sisters In Court

Two Duggar sons, two courtrooms, one family habit that keeps showing up in both. Josh Duggar filed a 2025 motion from inside federal prison that names his own sisters, and what he's asking a court to do with them is the story driving this episode. He's pleaded not guilty, though the affidavit says he admitted what happened twice, once to the child's father and once to detectives on a call they were recording. His parents bailed him out within days. The people who actually called the police were his in-laws, the Caldwells, a family that chose the courthouse over the kitchen table, which is precisely what the Duggars have avoided doing for two decades.  One brother naming his sisters in a federal filing. Another brother's in-laws paying a price for reporting him. Same last name, same instinct to control the story from the inside, two very different rooms where it's now playing out in public.
