Where Lindsay Clancy Took Cora That Morning

Lindsay Clancy spent the morning of January 24, 2023 at a pediatric appointment with her five-year-old daughter.
That is where she was when her husband texted her a photo of their three-year-old, who had just dressed himself for the first time. She texted one back of Cora behind a mask at the doctor's office. Patrick Clancy told the jury about both.
He also told them about the snowman she built with the children when she got home, the art projects that followed, and how much better she had seemed since the holidays.
Tony Brueski and retired FBI behavioral analyst Robin Dreeke break down what that day does to this case.
Assistant District Attorney Shanan Buckingham is using it. She told jurors this was not a woman in the throes of psychosis, and pointed to exactly this kind of ordinary competence. Kevin Reddington has to take the same hours and make them mean something entirely different.
The episode covers what the state says came after. A mapped route between the house, an unfamiliar restaurant and a CVS. Searches for dinner and for children's medicine. Patrick out the door around 5:15.
Dreeke, a retired FBI Special Agent with twenty-one years assessing behavior under pressure, explains why functioning is a far weaker signal than juries tend to believe.
Cora, Dawson and Callan died that night, and nobody disputes it. Criminal responsibility is the whole trial, and the Commonwealth has to prove it beyond a reasonable doubt. If the jury finds she was not criminally responsible, she is committed to a state mental health facility rather than released.
Judge William Sullivan has told jurors to expect six to eight weeks.
