The boat came back to the mainland that afternoon. Nolan Wells was not on it. His friends had his phone. They had his keys. Hours passed before anyone called his mother. By the time Christine Wonsley reported him missing at midnight, the island was dark, the water was empty, and the only people who knew where her son was supposed to be were the friends who left without him.

The girl they say he stayed behind to talk to has now been identified. Her family's version of events does not match theirs. The state autopsy is sealed. The independent autopsy came back undetermined with parts of his throat missing from the body.

Ten audience questions. Tony answers every one — the contradictions, the hours nobody can account for, the sealed evidence, the threats, and the question underneath all of it that nobody in Mississippi seems willing to answer.
