Melissa in the Morning: The “R” Word

Recent US data shows 92% of young people who have heard of the “R” word, heard it used as a slur first. We are seeing an increase in the use of this word and organizations, like Special Olympics, are working to combat it in society. We spoke more about that work with Andrea Cahn, Senior Vice President of Unified Champion Schools, working closely with Special Olympics on this.
