More than $20 billion was reported lost to internet crime in the U.S. in 2025, according to the FBI. The IC3 received more than a million complaints. That's a 26% increase in reported losses from 2024. We spoke with Special Agent In-Charge, PJ O’Brien, and Public Affairs Specialist, Christine Jeltema, both from the FBI New Haven office, about cybersecurity crimes.
