Connecticut’s Department of Children and Families is making changes following concerns raised after a child’s death. DCF says it’s strengthening case reviews and safety practices, including additional oversight of high-risk cases. The changes come after the Office of the Child Advocate raised concerns about whether DCF policies were being consistently followed. We spoke with Christina Ghio, the state’s child advocate.
