Norwich City's disappointing opening day record continued as they were beaten 2-1 by West Brom at Carrow Road, but much of the post-match discourse was dominated by the Baggies opening goal. 

Aune Heggebo diverted the ball into the net for to put City behind, with Philippe Clement describing the situation as 'ridiculous' post-match. But there were plenty of football reasons behind the Canaries defeat.
