Melissa in the Morning: ALPR’s in Milford

Milford is putting the brakes on plans to expand its network of Flock license-plate cameras. The city has enacted a moratorium while officials take a closer look at privacy concerns, data collection, and how the technology is being used. The pause gives the city time to consider what rules should govern the cameras moving forward. We spoke with Milford Alderman, Andy Fowler, about the ongoing debates around ALPR’s in the city.
