Did Lindsay Clancy Tell the State's Expert About the Voice?

She did. Dr. Avram Mack, the Commonwealth's rebuttal psychiatrist in the Lindsay Clancy trial, testified that Clancy told him about a male, laughing voice that said it was her last chance. The doctor's too old: Resnick is 88 and evaluated her four months out. Mack's evaluation came in April 2026. The chaplain isn't ordained: Cavanaugh also testified Clancy brought up the voice in their first conversations, and her visits number around two hundred.

The voice was invented for the lawsuit: the malpractice case was filed in January 2026, and the chaplain's account puts the voice in January 2023. Her face is evidence: Mack himself said she cried in front of him. She denies being bipolar: Dr. Paul Zeizel and Resnick both diagnosed it, and denial runs with the illness.

The family failed her: after she told them in December 2022 she'd had thoughts of harming the children, they got her into McLean Hospital. The hospital cleared her and discharged her; nineteen days after that, the children were dead. Her providers knew about the harm thoughts. She wasn't hiding it.

Clancy denies three murder counts on a claim of no criminal responsibility, and prosecutors allege she planned the killings and staged the jump. Two versions of her are on trial at once: a mastermind who fooled everyone and an obvious danger nobody acted on. The chat picks one live.
