Meta has agreed to pay up to 18 billion dollars to settle a landmark case over teen social media addiction. The deal with 48 states, including Connecticut, includes new protections for kids on Instagram and Facebook, including two-hour daily limits, stronger age checks and overnight restrictions. We spoke with John Powers, assistant professor and director of the graduate digital content create and strategy program at Quinnipiac University, following the news.
