Melissa in the Morning: Capalbo Strong

September is Pediatric Cancer Awareness Month — a time to shine a light on the children and families facing cancer. Each year, thousands of children are diagnosed across the country. Here at home, we have some amazing non-profits focused on raising awareness, supporting families, and funding research to improve treatments and give young patients a better chance at beating cancer. Capalbo Strong is one of those movements – created in honor of Charlie Capalbo. His father, Anthony Capalbo, joined us in studio to talk more about the non-profit and an upcoming 24K fundraiser.
