Melissa in the Morning: Save AM Radio

Drivers could soon be guaranteed access to AM radio in new vehicles. The House is set to vote on the AM Radio for Every Vehicle Act, which would require automakers to keep free, over-the-air AM radio in new cars. Supporters say AM remains critical for emergency alerts and local news, especially during severe weather and disasters. We spoke with Senator Richard Blumenthal about the legislation, its purpose and predictions if it will pass this year.
