In Part Two, Karin Austin tells the story of meeting Harvard psychiatrist Dr John Mack and how their relationship changed the way she understood her experiences.

Karin discusses Mack’s approach to people reporting extraordinary encounters, the work they did together, their friendship, his death and the efforts to preserve his legacy and archives.

We then bring the conversation into the present day: the work surrounding the John Mack material and Rice University, attempts to study experiencer accounts more rigorously, and the difficult question of where experiencers belong in the modern UAP and disclosure conversation.

We also discuss credibility, evidence, alleged implants, the dangers of treating every extraordinary claim equally, what Karin believes she knows versus what remains unknown, and where people struggling with unexplained experiences can currently turn for help.

This is Part Two of my extended conversation with Karin Austin.
