Connecticut is cracking down on prediction markets offering sports wagers. The state issued nine cease-and-desist orders and nearly 30 subpoenas as officials investigate alleged illegal gambling. The state says these platforms bypass Connecticut’s regulated sports betting system and may accept wagers from prohibited betters.
